Sonia Morffi
President of CANADEM USA
G100 Business Networking Wing California State Chair USA
CEO & Founder Radio Latino INC
President Radio Latino Foundation
Sonia Morffi is a woman who was born and raised in the city of Zamora, Michoacán, in a family of politicians and artists who served as her life role models. Each one managed to stand out and establish themselves in different fields. She is the niece of Manuel Cuevas, a famous Mexican designer who has made outfits for great celebrities such as The Beatles and Queen Elizabeth of England. Her uncle Rubén Trejo was an important sculptor and artist known nationwide. She is the cousin of Tony Garnier, considered the musical director of Bob Dylan, with whom he has collaborated for more than 30 years.
This close circle, marked by work, effort, and commitment, led her to build her own goal: to develop a digital communication platform with a variety of creative content that portrayed the lives of different people and the path they had to take to achieve their aspirations. Stories that would become references of strength and empowerment for women. Thus began Radio Latino INC in Los Angeles, California, and later, Fundación Radio Latino.
Radio Latino INC is the leading digital content station. Its focus is on empowering the business community, with human interest stories and the latest news from leaders in the entertainment, education, community, and immigration sectors.
Once her project was consolidated, Sonia Morffi expanded her work with the aim of contributing to the social development of the population. This is how Radio Latino Foundation emerged, to support young people, but especially entrepreneurial women of all ages, so that from their individualities they could strengthen their personal tools and thus drive them to achieve new goals.
Now, Radio Latino Foundation works to reinforce the social fabric by building ties with other organizations with similar affinities to benefit groups in a state of social vulnerability. It develops, promotes, and implements training programs with non-profit organizations, public and private organizations, governmental and non-governmental institutions through projects in education, health, business, tourism, gastronomy, art, culture, and national and international export fairs and exhibitions.
A Woman of Achievement
