Mark Feierstein is a senior advisor with Albright Stonebridge Group, a commercial diplomacy firm; GBAO, a polling company; and the U.S. Institute of Peace, as well as a consultant to Major League Baseball.

Mr. Feierstein has more than three decades of experience in the public and private sectors. Most recently, he served in the Biden administration as acting deputy administrator at the U.S. Agency for International Development. During the Obama administration, Mr. Feierstein was special assistant to the President and senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs on the National Security Council. Before joining the White House, he served as Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID.

In the Clinton administration, Mr. Feierstein worked at the State Department as special assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of American States and at USAID as a senior advisor for elections.

In his current roles outside of government, Mr. Feierstein advises companies on entry and growth strategies in foreign markets and conducts public opinion research for multinational companies and political figures throughout the world.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Feierstein was a reporter for the Mexico City News. He has been published in numerous newspapers and journals on U.S. foreign policy, Latin American politics, and baseball.

Mr. Feierstein is a frequent guest on English- and Spanish-language television and radio programs in the United States and abroad, including BBC, CNN, NBC, Univision, and National Public Radio. He has also been quoted by outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, and POLITICO.

Mr. Feierstein holds a B.A. in international relations, magna cum laude, from Tufts University and an M.A. in international affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Feierstein is based in Washington, D.C.
